History[]

Dance Central 2[]

While D-Coy does not appear in Dance Central 2, it was revealed in a prerelease promotional event for Dance Central 3 that Dare and MacCoy became agents for Dance Central Intelligence (DCI) and were held captive in Tan Manor after spying on it for suspicious activity. Prior to their abduction, they attempted to send various documents to DCI, but were unsuccessful.

Dance Central 3[]

D-Coy does not physically appear in Dance Central 3's Story Mode, but they are mentioned and seen in images. At some point, they were able to obtain and send footage of Dr. Tan getting ready to initiate Operation Lockstep, but contact between them and DCI was lost since. The organization was later able to track them down, only to find them Dr. Tan's control via a mind control device. Once Dr. Tan was defeated, they were recovered by DCI and freed from his control.

Dance Central (VR)[]

While D-Coy does not appear in Dance Central (VR), there is a Megamix named after the crew called Megamix: D-Coy. It features Sanctify, Sorry, Attention, and Turn Down For What.

  • D-Coy is one of three crews that is solely comprised of characters from Dance Central, the others being Lu$h Crew and Murder of Crows.
  • In Dance Central 2, MacCoy can be seen on a missing poster in Lowdown. This appears to allude to D-Coy's absence in the game and their abduction in Dance Central 3.
  • D-Coy is the only crew to not have Crew Looks, instead having DC Classic outfits. Its members are also the only characters to have an alternate outfit from Dance Central as their DC Classic outfit.
