Crew Challenge Mode is a mode in Dance Central 2, considered the "Campaign Mode". Here, you are introduced to each crew, until you eventually meet and unlock at least three new crews: the Glitterati, D-Cypher, and D-Cypher Elite. You can also unlock new outfits for each crew through the Crew Challenge.
Gameplay Sequence[]
The intro involves Dr. Tan beginning to look into dance crews in the DC2 game.
You start off at the High Tide venue, trying to show Riptide what you got: you can choose to play any of Riptide's songs on the chosen difficulty level, with the exception of the final challenge. When you have earned 16 stars for these songs (four songs with at least four stars on each of them), you will unlock Riptide's final challenge song. If you can earn at least 4 stars on this song, you will earn the right to rep for Riptide, and Bodie will give you the dance crew card for Riptide.
After you complete Riptide's challenge, you can choose to visit either the Flash4wrd crew or Lu$h Crew at the Tee Off or Set Adrift venues, respectively. You do the same thing as you did with Riptide: earn a total of at least 16 stars on each crew's song list, and then earn 4+ stars on the final song, but with different songs, of course.
